You can grow your own small or tree fruits, and surprisingly, you won’t need acres of land to do so!

Small fruits – raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and grapes; and tree fruits – apples, pears, nectarines, persimmons, and peaches can be grown and enjoyed in your Long Island garden. The secret to successful fruit growing - provide at least 6 hours of full sun and well-drained soils!

Our selection of home fruit trees is more compact than typical orchard trees, making them better suited to Long Island-sized backyards. Juicy peaches, crisp apples and pears – you can imagine the freshness when they’re just picked from the tree!

Small fruits – big on flavor! Easy to grow strawberries – perfect for the garden or strawberry jars – are almost too pretty to eat – well almost! Blueberries, raspberries and grapes are perennial favorites at Martin Viette.
