Educational workshops, lectures and demonstrations! Our enormously popular winter lecture series begins in January and continues through March. Whether it’s a lecture on pruning, landscaping, container gardening, or demonstration on repotting orchids, you’ll enjoy the variation in topics and speakers. Each January we announce a new series.
Do you enjoy flower shows? If so, you’ll want to sign up for our annual March trek to the grandest flower show of all – the Philadelphia Flower Show! This day trip is a great way to jump start spring. Contact us for details on how you can be part of this fun, educational event.
Spring and summer lectures and festivals, offering timely topics such as growing hydrangeas on Long Island, incredible edibles, summer landscaping tips, and more, are held under our green tent.

The Holidays are perfect for workshops. Our ever-popular wreath and centerpiece workshops – for adults and children - are offered in November and December. Also for children – paperwhite workshops.
The ever-popular INN Event! Every November, Martin Viette Nurseries opens its doors for the Annual Holiday Reception to Benefit the INN – Interfaith Nutrition Network. This popular yearly event begins the true spirit of giving for the Holiday Season – giving to others less fortunate and in need. The evening’s festivities include live music, light repast, Chinese and silent auctions with so many wonderful items to bid on provided by local merchants, sponsors and special vendors.
